Hi from the chilly wet coast of Canada

I've just recently joined the forums and thought I would introduce myself: I have 8 colonies in my little hobby farm (called Aprici) in North Saanich, BC. This is my third year keeping bees, and all but one of my colonies comes from new queens and splits that I made myself.

Am currently trying out different nectar and pollen sources for winter for my bees, and keep my notes on my web site http://aprici.com.

These forums look like a great resource and glad to be here!

I’m over on the mainland and a bit south, in the states.
Ferndale, WA. I don’t think it’s as wet here as u are on the Island.
