Hello,
I have my English garden hive and I'm getting ready to paint it now. I almost have everything I need to get started when I recieve my bee package this May. I've read Be Keepng For Dummies & I'm now on The Backyard Bee Keeper bu Kim Flottum. I'm looking forward to this adventure and hope that my neighbors don't get pissed. My covidants say nothing in there about not being able to keep bugs....Wish me luck!

Ok, so I've done my research and have decided to use a 1 gallon pickle jar
With a lg brood body to cover it for my top feeder in May when I get my bees.
Anyone done this?

We've all use that jar at sometime. Might want to try a plastic Maxwell House or Folgers coffee plastic can also.........they work fine and fit under a medium.....
