Honey from dead outs?

Freeze it before it's stolen? I almost thought my hive had pulled through the last cold snap what with all the comings and goings. But alas, it is not so. Some local mutts are helping themselves to the stores, best to freeze it? There is (was) about a medium of honey there. I figured if they stole it all I might catch them in an early swarm!!

Better than letting some other beek get your honey... Swarms don't need honey to be attracted to your equipment. OMTCW

Ah about the swarm, I was meaning that when that other hives fills itself up with my honey they may find themselves honey bound and have to swarm! Anyway, seems the obvious answer is to freeze, I'll try to get it off tonight.
