When did they stop manufactureing galvanized metal extractors, cans, etc.

Not lead, zinc reacts with the acidic honey, Maxant will probably chime in. They know better than any.

Galvanized, whats that?
No one uses it anymore.
You may find some homemade ones floating around here and there.
Most companies started phasing out galvy in the 70's.
