    Default Hey there from Texas

    Hey y'all,

    My name is Kyt and I live in Amarillo, TX. My husband and I have been trying to build a homestead life for several years on our small 7.97 acres (aka Almost 8).

    We have chickens and sheep and I have asked the birthday gods to bring me bees this spring.

    I'd like to learn as much as I can about bee keeping. The collective brain of this forum is legendary so I hope to glean a lot of information that will help make me a good bee keeper.

    Hi cave- I lived in Amarillo when I was but a wee tot. It's too dry and windy for me. Welcome to Beesource.
