I'm a little alarmed at how few birds are coming to our backyard feeders this winter.
I'm noticing only about 1/4 as many as usual of chicadees, cardinals, blue jays, woodpeckers, finches, grosbeaks, nuthatches, titmice, juncos, than we have typically gotten each of the past 8 winters in this house. It's a little creepy, especially since I put out a big variety of their very favorite seeds.
Is anyone else noticing this?
