Hello from SE Georgia.
It's good to have a place to ask questions and get answers about beekeeping. Although i've only had my on hives for 2yrs now, I was always around the little critters growing up. Other intrest include hunting, fishing, snow sking, tennis and growing grapes.

I have made wine in the past but it never turns out as good as dads, so I leave the wine making to him. I would like trying to make meed wine someday.

An old buddy of mine made wine from scratch. I've always wanted him to teach me how he does it, but he passed away before I could learn.I can't learn it from the books, and I'll be damned if I'm getting one of those kits, lol.
Mead is fun stuff though. Easy to make as well.
