I make about 10 frames for dispensing thymol crystals as a mite control to be left in hives. there screened in sides so bees don't remove them. any ideas??

Why do you do that?
According to what I've been reading on this site small cell = no treatment needed.
I'm just beginning experimenting with a small cell hive, bought the small cell foundation today.

Sounds like a good experiment to me. I'd be leary of how long to leave it in but I'm sure you'll be monitoring it, and I'd be interested in any results you'd like to share. Some of the best ideas come from idle hands in the winter huh?
