Default Checking it out in Idaho

With all the buzz (pun intended) going around about the demise of the honey bee around the world, I thought it would be time to investigate and see if bee keeping was right for me. I just ordered the book recommended on this forum, and download a bunch of plans for the hives. I plant a one acre garden every spring, and the bees are spotty at best. I do save seeds, so a bunch of nice bees would be an asset. Looking forward to interfacing with you'all

Welcome to the site! What do you plant in that one acre, and what book did you order?
