    Default Piping and Quacking

    A hive with swarm cells and the old queen gone started piping and quacking. This has been going on for 5 days now. I thought is was something the first hatched queen did to locate the others. Does that mean the virgin queen hasn't gone on mating flights yet?

    The "zoot zoot zoot" is from a loose queen. The "quack quack quack" is from confined and guarded virgin queens.
