bottom board

I am looking for a thread from a while back that was someones way of building a bottom board they split a 2x4 and then cut a place out of that to hold the boards for the bottom. I remember roughly how it was done but would like to look at those plans again before I go out and mess up some wood trying to figure it out.

those are not the one I was looking for but I can use them to recreate the one I remember. the one I remember was a solid bottom board and they cut the 2x4 in half so one length made both sides.
