Beeks in Southern Wisconsin

I will be spending next week in Southern Wisconsin (Elkhorn area) and am looking for a couple of fellow beekeeping fanatics to visit while my wife plays with the grandson. (I'm going to play with him, too, but there will be days when SHE will be hording him and, being from Texas, I get "cabin fever" with all that snow around!!!)

I'd love to visit with Sherri and John and I have looked up where Wi-beek lives and they are 4+ hours away.

If you are in the Elkhorn area and are willing to spend a couple of hours with a fellow addict, please let me know here or PM me.

Dadant has a branch in the area(Watertown).

Lapp's Bee Supply in Reeseville(They are also commercial beekeepers)

Honey Acres(If they are still going) has a nice little beekeeping musuem. They are in Ashipun(sp?).

I live southwest of John & Sheri about 1 1/2 hrs

BeeSlave, I met Roland at Honey Acres two years ago. Neat little place. Roland took us on a tour of the facilities. They are "family".

I have been to the Dadant facility. Not what I expected, but I still had my jaw hanging open and was drooling at the vast amount of equipment/supplies availaibe.

Anybody else out there?
