Default The most stunning bee photography I have ever seen

I'm sure some of you have seen this website before. It has the best photos of bees I have ever seen. It really is amazing. There are also different sections showing beekeeping in different parts of the world. All the photos are by a French photographer named Éric Tourneret, and they are just beautiful.

This one is quite interesting as it clearly shows the build up of cocoons from old larvae, in the brood cells.

I really enjoyed the photos and info about the native stingless bees of Mexico and how some Mexicans are organizing in order to save those species of bees.
The bees remind me of little mason and solitary bees, except they live in 'hives and do make honey. How cool the way they keep them in earthen jars on shelves, on their patio and garden walls! Thanks for sharing this.

Wow! Very nice pics. I can't hardly wait until spring gets here. Our bees should start to build up real soon. I have already noticed some of our Maple trees starting to bloom. The days should start to get longer soon, so the queens should start to get into gear.

I sent an email to find out about having a poster sent to the US. That picture of the bees coming into the hive with pollen baskets full is spectacular.
