    Default Great sight today...

Was down at the hives today and saw a few of them flying around...the sun was shinning and I checked the thermometer...34 DEGREES...My PA gurls are doing what they do best. I just can't wait for spring to get here...got queens...nucs..and splits in the plan books.

One of my 3 hives was flying on Saturday, and 2 of them were flying the week before when it was about 50 degrees. All of them have been "housecleaning" (moving out the dead bees - not too many though). So far, so good. Just have to sit by the fire and make up my "wish list" for spring.

And as of yesterday, the days are getting longer now, woo-hoo!

Bees flying in unusually low temperatures can be a sign of high nosema levels.
