Can it be cleaned with boiling water and reused or is it cheap enough to be disposable?

Costs $4.50. After I finish straining honey, I rinse with hot water in the sink without damage. But, that's not "boiling".

For small scale wax production, I bring wax and water to a boil on an induction hot plate. The induction hot plate does not heat using hot elements so it is extremely safe and easy on the wax. Once all is melted, I pour everything through a nylon honey straining cloth into a one gallon plastic honey bucket to cool.

Because the plastic honey bucket is larger at the top than at the bottom, the wax easily pops out as a cake after it has solidified.
