I've just come across a few issues from the mid 90's and suprised at tyhe quality of information.
Is this still an excellent magazine or are there now better more informative options? Thanks.

Still an excellent magazine, as is American Bee Journal

Some folks subscribe to both.
Some folks subscribe to both, then stay with the one they like the best.
But yes, Bee Culture is still an excellent resource.

I take both ABJ and BC. but Bee culture needs to find another Richard Taylor type writer, it's like what ABJ would be without Jerry Hayes. Jack

I subsrcribe to bee culture, it's an excellent magazine!

I also take both, there is some cross printing of articles between them. But some authors only write for one or the other.

I subscribe to both, and won't take both again. Right now ABJ has the edge. BC has laid an egg on some recent articles, rotten. I wouldn't trade Beesource for both of them. You have to sort thru some of the info and if you can do that you can find out anything you need to know right here.

FYI to the newbies. Don't forget to subscribe some $ to this forum if you can afford it. I enjoy both magazines, yet this forum has an army of online mentors who generously donate their opinions, but Barry pays the bills.

I still take both ABJ and BC for now, i've taken them so long now that they seem like they are becoming replications. I agree with vallyman that ABJ has the edge right now.Jack
