    Default Flatbed diminsions

    What are the ideal flatbed diminsions? What size are the pallets.? I saw a truck that is 9 Ft long by 7'6" wide will this work?

    bed size depends on how many trips you want take to each yard -

    i use a 9 x 8 foot bed - it works great for 50 hives - 40 is better leaves room for extra stuff - but it just depends on the power train of the truck - hives are heavy - really heavy if heading to cali -

    102" by 14'. Outside dimensions including the rubrail. And long enuf for 5 33" wide pallets or 4 40" wide pallets.

    What Mark says is right a 14' bed is real nice but bear in mind you need a WB of around 190" which I dont think is available in a 1 ton size and would be too much weight for a 1 ton anyway. You would need a 450/550 sized truck for a bed of that length. A 350 is more sized for a 9 or 12 foot bed depending on wheelbase
