Jerry Freeman's Beetle Traps

Received 3 beetle traps that I ordered from Jerry and boy do they really work! I am very pleased with the workmanship and design of the trap. I would definitely recommend these traps to anyone.

The video showed used cooking oil which can have a strong odor. Can this be a problem over time? Or do they ignore it?

I use new vegetable oil in my trays. Yes the stuff that falls into the trap can have a smell after a while. I havent seen that it bothers the bees. I do clean mine out every month in the summer, as I am taking mite counts in that tray after cleaning it out, and every couple of months in the winter.
