I bought two packages of bees and one nuc from him. One of the packages abscounded but the nuc and the other package is doing very well. They built up well and produce a fair amount of honey for their first year. I was pleased as a first year beek. He is very dedicated to his queen rearing program.

I have bought several queens from David and I have been very pleased with them. David and his wife Sheri are great people, and are both very dedicated to educating new beekeepers. They also have some great online bee lessons at http://www.basicbeekeeping.blogspot.com which include a couple of lessons on queen rearing.

In my opinion David Burns has some of the best package bees around. I live in tennessee and ordered two packaged from him last year. I have already ordered four packages this year. Honesst and true. A+++ in my book.
