Covering sbb for mite-away treatment

What does one use to cover the sbb (to prevent corrosion of screen) when treating with mite-away formic acid pads? Hate to have to replace the screen by just using a sticky board under the sbb.

just grease the board and clean it every week and stop useing mite-away or better yet use a screen bb with a oil pan , it does less to the bees.good luck rock.
