More free bees

I put out a couple of swarm traps this year and this is the second swarm of the year that I captured. Hadn't check it in awhile so I am not sure how long they have been here. The first swarm was off of one of my hives but this one seems to be feral bees to the best of my knowledge. Ain't this hobby fun?

Is there enough bees to over winter?

Not sure but I'm feeding them now to see what happens. If not I guess I will try and do a combine.

I've been doing a trapout from the bolster (part of the steel framework) of an old Boston and Maine caboose. I started it too late to give them a queen and overwinter but by combining, I've helped the population of a couple of weaker hives.

Always a home for free bees.

Never leave less than a full complement of frames in a box.

I was just discussing with a friend yesterday...how many business's/hobbies can you have where it is perfectly legal to dispatch workers to steal from your neighbors, and it is also legal to entrap and keep your neighbors workers?
