I noticed yesterday that one of my hives has a lot of bees flying around out front and they were doing it again today.I wondered if this means that they are getting ready to swarm? This hive took off like gangbusters in the spring and tried to swarm in early May.So I split them and put a new queen on the split and then the hive tried to swarm again in June so I pulled a super of honey and split off another hive.Now they have built back out to 2 deeps and 2 Illinois supers.I guess I better go take a look on Saturday and see if its full of queen cells again.
