    Default White Oak Apiary

There is a thread in the Consumer Report forum where members are expressing negative experiences with White Oak Apiary in Brewster NY. I initially posted my message below in that thread, but then thought better of "contaminating" the Consumer Report forum.

Here is a link to the White Oak thread in the Consumer Report forum:

My message below continues from the thread linked above:

The White Oak story just gets weirder. After reading Clay's post above, I Googled White Oak to see what I got. Yes, GoDaddy is offering the whiteoakapiary.com domain name for sale.

Then there is a beekeeper who mentioned White Oak in their blog, with a bad experience. Here's the blog:

If you read the link, there is a comment about the president of the Brooklyn Beekeepers Association getting cited by the police for an incident involving nucs from White Oak. And guess what, here is that story in the NY Times:

Graham, you always find the most interesting stuff. I thought that I had read everything on White Oak, but I missed the NY Times story. That was just too funny.

The NY Times story didn't show up when I searched "White Oak Apiary". But with the clues in the blog, I searched for "Brooklyn Bee association new york times apiary", and the Times story is the #3 result.
