Queen Excluder Direction

Is there a right direction ( up or down) for installing a metal framed metal screen excluder.

Usually I put the side w/ the wires that go across the excluder the short dimension down. The idea is that when it is time to remove the excluder you will have fewer wires glued down to the top bars of the frames below. And it may be easier to remove the excluder w/out damaging it.
