    Default Hi Folks

    Hi there,

I'm on the west coast of Scotland and new to my beekeeping, but keen and loving it

I got very lucky a while ago when I was working clearing a field of gorse when I chanced upon an old hive overgrown for many years and still full of bees! ...So I brought it home.

Knowing nothing about them really it has been a few years 'unattended' outside my house and just this spring I finally had a bee expert over to inspect the hive and show me the ropes. It was the first time I'd ever seen inside the thing, and all very exciting.

So now I'm here to pick you lovely people's brains for handy info

    Cheers!

Mr. Cat, that's a lovely story!
So nice that those bees just kept surviving quite nicely without any human messing around with them. Hopefully they can continue with some thoughtful guardianship from you.
