    Default Newbee in Denver

Hello! I'm a new beekeeper in Denver, Colorado. I live in central Denver, just south of City Park, and I have two hives. I'm figuring out how to deal with territoriality (the bees can be troublesome to people standing far away from them) and planning to build a screen to divert their flight path. Looking into the hives, seeing the comb and pollen and nectar and eggs accumulate, is as awe-inspiring as I hoped.

Welcome, there are plenty of ways to make them fly high - raise the hive, fence, hedge, buildings, park the RV there, etc.
