    Default Bee behavior after rain

    Hi
How long after it quits raining do bees wait before heading back out or coming in from foraging? We're still worried about robbing starting up again and my husband will run home at lunch to check on the hives if it's not raining. However, we don't know how quickly they start foraging after the rain stops. Radar shows blobs coming but most are too far out to tell when the next one will hit. It's just stopped raining now.

    Thanks,
    ~Elizabeth

I watch them flying in a light rain all the time, does not seem to bother them. Be cautious opening the hives though with inclement weather coming, they get a little testy

My bees forage as soon as it stops raining or even during very light rain.
