    Big Grin First Inspection (pics)

So today I did my first inspection of a hive that I installed last weekend. Everything looked great i saw my queen and eggs. I also saw a carpenter bee try to steal a bit of sugar water while i was in the hive he didn't get to far though there is also a pic of a worker just going through the entrance reduce with pollen in her baskets. Her is the link to the close up pictures since they are large files http://picasaweb.google.com/56stump/...eat=directlink

I envy you finding your queen. I have been in three times, I can find eggs and larve but I can't spot the queen for the life of me!

Good work, I don't think I could find my queen if she was the only one in there!

I think that's always how it is. Same thing happened to me today. Wanted to grab a frame of brood to put in a swarm nuc, and there she was. She looked as surprised as I was.
