stopping e mail notifications

How do you go about keeping notifications from cluttering your e-mail inbox when you are subscribed to a thread? I have un-checked e-mail notifications in the default subscription box but they continue to appear.

Jim, did you get this resolved? I've looked at my own control panel and I can't figure out why you keep getting them if you've unchecked the box on the far right hand side of the screen and then scrolled down to the bottom and selected "no email notification" in the drop down window.

Kind of strange some notifications are still coming but not for every posting

Since changing your setting, are you only getting notifications from subscribed threads prior to the change?

Thanks for your attention Barry, seems to be fixed now. Not currently subscribed to too many threads, but your reply on this thread didn't result in a notification.
