    Default does this look normal?

    Hi folks,
so i opened my hive today to deal with a major problem. My bees had started building comb in a box that I stupidly left inside my tbh (don't ask why).
Anyway, I had some wire ready to go to wire up the comb into the new bars, but I'm a little worried about the bees. This was a captured swarm, and I'm not sure if I have a queen - couldn't spot her. Here is a picture of the comb, and some of it looked fine, but some seemed weird. Does this look normal, or does it look like laying workers, or something else strange? Any thoughts would be much appreciated.
You can see a pic on my latest blog posting at www.myurbanearth.blogspot.com.
    thanks,

If the comb in your picture has been made in your TBH then you have a queen because you can see the lavae.
The comb itself looks fine to me from what I could see in your photo.

    oh, great - that's a relief!
thanks so much for checking the picture for me.
i'll check on the hive in a few days and hopefully they've reattached the comb and I can remove the wire.

Looks like good capped worker brood to me. Looks good.

At least you know they HAD a queen, if you see eggs you know you had a queen in the last 3 days I believe.
