    I've used the silicone (by GE) inside feeders to keep the screen from pushing up and letting bees get under it. Never had any problems with it. You could probably go to a pet store and get the kind for making/fixing aquariums but don't know if there's much difference other than price.

    Don't use anything that is not listed as aquarium safe. That has an antifungal chemical which might disrupt the internal biological balance of the hive.
