split help please

intending to make a nuc from a strong colony. queen arrives today and it is raining and low of 38. due to work my next chance to attemp this will be friday.
should i go ahead and try to make my nuc today as it clears and add queen 4hrs later?
if i decide to wait till friday, what is the best way to keep my queen alive ?

catch a break between showers and make up your nuk-you can even do it in the lght mists we are having here in whitesville. good luck,mike

if your queen has attendants, a few drops of sugar water on the screen 3-4 times a day and a dim place in your house will work for a couple days. good luck,mike
