Now I see why the dogs we had when I was a kid were freebie mutts. Cheap to replace. You can buy a lot of dog food for several dogs with the prices being thrown about on here.

Little Lucy has passed. Went in at a little after 11:00 to give her the meds and she was dead. I was holding out for all the hope, but in the back of mind new where it was going. She gave it a good fight. Had to wake up the family and tell them. Daughter is pretty upset. Hate to see her upset!

Sorry to hear that. It's better than suffering. Nothing worse than having to break news like that to your little ones. Been there,done that(too many times).

Sorry to hear about your loss. In this day and age many make difficult decisions based solely on the effects they have on their wallets. I commend you on your attempt to at least try, despite the costs.
