    Default observations-moths

10 pm here. Walked down to the hives. One strong hive obviously audible, nice. Another hive, moth walked right out. Note, moths are active.

Any bees in the hive the moth came from? I've never had wax worm problems except in the late summer - fall.

plenty, I'd say it's an average hive. Not booming but certainly not weak.

Perhaps your colony divided and left some comb exposed. In any case try to make sure that there are enough bees to cover all the combs, if any is left exposed it may be a higher risk of getting infected. They prefer older darker wax.
