    Greetings from SouthWest Michigan. I am an amateur/hobbiest beekeeper. I have two hives that I have had for about 5 years. I am located in town, but fortunately it is an older part with larger yards and mature trees that allows me some privacy with my hives.

    Welcome, I had up to four hives in downtown Orlando, Florida for many years. I did my splits at the house and kept the working hives in the citrus and palmetto around Orlando. Several municipalities have ordinances that model good urban beekeeping. I hit the highlights at
