Still looking? My father in law recently passed, we're putting his place on the marked this week. 2.5 acres in Bakersville, just outside of St Augustine, off CR 208. I could even come up with some GPS numbers for offshore...
My wife says I have ADD, but, hey look- a chicken!
I sure am.......... what is it zoned??
Just curious how the state bee laws vary between migratory beekeepers in the areas you are interested in, I've had the same idea of buying five or ten acres in the South for a snow bird winter get away area from December to about March, for some future retirement scenerio. Can one bring in bees on comb into these states listed?
I am going to start a thread in the Commercial
section. This is the wrong section for this discussion.
But great question.![]()
Why not MS? Several migratory beeks come to south MS for winter.
Is there some disadvantage here?

Bumped........ Still looking.......... Anyone???
Will keep my eye out for land for you. Prices are high around L'view and tyler, north of gilmer, wood county, etc would be some reasonable prices
