I had a Grandfather and Uncle who were Beeks. It took until age 45 for me to pull it off. We started last year with 3 hives and went into winter with two. I'm down to one now but remain determined to keep at it.

Howdy, Little Rocky Top! You and I are in similar situations: I started with two, lost one this winter, and plan on having 3 (maybe 4, if swarms are good this year) set up in April. Determination and a willingness to learn from our mistakes may turn us into beeks eventually!
