    Default selling bees?

My wife has (we think) ruptured a disk in her back... again... She just had one of her disks fused less than a year ago. So far we've used beestings on two ruptured disks and peripheral neuropathy. It has been a Godsend for the back problems and has shown some success for the nerve problems.

What I would like to know is how do those of you who sell bees for apitherapy go about protecting yourselves from lawsuits, etc? We would love to share what we have found with pain sufferers and maybe even make a buck or two but it seams like alot of liability. We've given bees to a few people in the past but we knew them well. How do we go about it?

I would think that if you sell the bees and don't do the actual stinging you could not be held liable.

I have waivers that customers can sign, just in case.

You could add that you are not liable as a special condition on the invoice, and since paying it is more or less agreeing to a binding contract, then you are probably covered. I'll ask my drunk lawschool buddy... Next time he crawls out of a bottle.

I'd love to agree with you but I live in CA and so I know better. You can get sued for anything out here and the more far out it is the more likely it is to stick.
