Default Simple way to make Creamed Honey

I'm looking for an easy way to make some creamed honey - just small amounts for personal use. To be honest I've never had it before. I'm getting some creamed honey from a commercial farm that will be my starter.

I have some old butter containers and was going to just mix the commercial creamed honey in with my own honey (1part to 10 parts ratio)

I am going to have my starter and my honey at 65 deg when mixing. Going to mix the starter with a little honey with a hand blender, and then put this mix in with the rest of the honey in the butter containers. Will stir a little more by hand then. Let sit for for a week in the garage that's 50-60deg right now.

    Am I missing anything?

Sounds like you are going in the right direction.

If you have a larger container you could use a stainless steel (brand new and very clean) paint mixer in a powerdrill to make the mixing easier and more thorough. I mix mine in 5 gal buckets.

Most any honey kept at 56 F or so will crystalize quickly.
