If you want to get a message to him, try the Honeybee Awareness Day website.

Okay, so google him and figure out how to contact him if you need to. Or go to Eastern PA Beekeepers meetings and you'll find him. Or to the state mtng. He hasn't fallen off of the face of the earth.

I too miss his distinctly unique perspective on things - not always PC, but spoken from the heart with great conviction. His style would often rub people the wrong way, but having interacted with him and followed his posts for many years, I would recommend buying queens and nucs from him.

He is over on MasterBee.com - always making things interesting - indeed he has no trouble expressing himself.

I mainly lurk here and other forums but Bjorn has always struck me as a straight shooter. The only reason I de-lurked here is I use to live in Delaware. One thing I think he's right about is some of these goofy registration laws. Specially if your a hobbist with just a couple of hives. I use to get packages from Millers down outside Baltimore and never got or asked for any health certificate. Not that I debate the legal requirement, but come on health certificates for an insect?

Talking to Mike is easy. Go to his website, get the number, pick up the phone and call him. He was very helpful to me when I was trying to replace an absconded hive last spring. I plan to give him my business when i requeen next year.

I've seen him posting around on the beemaster site lately... I would tell him to check this link but I don't participate over at beemaster anymore, just lurk as a guest from time to time.
