Hello all from first year beekeeper in Troy, NY. Transferred a new packaged hive from a fellow beekeeper to my hive early in june and have been watching the girls work, work , work since! Not looking like any honey for me this year as I want the hive to survive the over-winter in the great northeast. Joined the forum to look for assistance and help in getting going and people to ask questions to.

Hello Obcast, do your girls fly different over there where the sun comes UP over the water? Glad you joined. Hope you have a camera and can post some photos of those girls. Don't know how you guys do it over there where you have four real seasons, especially the cold one. Stick around as there's a ton of stuff to pick up on. Good to have you on board.
