I saw a jar of naturally green honey last night at the Northeastern Oklahoma Beekeeping Association. It was emerald green no joke! Would have fit right into the Wizard of Oz. NeilV can confirm this.

We get green honey sometimes if the bees work salt ceader trees. I've never tried it though can't imagine it would taste to good but when mixed with all the other honey it doesn't matter.
Magnetman, any idea how it tasted, and its source?
They said it tasted like regular honey. It comes from some bog plant. I have to find out.

I missed this first time around, but I did see this with my own two eyes. It was green as can be, not geen tinted but green. They said it was purple loosestrife.
How is it when someone asks a question, some guys respond with an unrelated answer, like green with envy. I needed some answers and have to scroll through some time wasters.

Yeah, Its much better when you stick to the topic, like this response that you posted on a thread on the Post Office:
Is Kim a beekeeper?

Life without humor would be life without humor.
Fair enough. I was just a little freaked about my green honey. I guess I over reacted.
If you got past the second post you would have had your answer. The second Post was the only one I saw which didn't answer the question.

Had to do a double-take when I saw the post by magnet-man (Bill Samples). I think of him each time I put on my UltraBreeze. Rest in Peace, Bill.
