Question Hello from Licking county Ohio.

I have been beekeeping for the last three years without much success, I've only been able to harvest about 50lbs of honey off my 4 hives (first year).
Also I am new to online forums so where to I post my questions?

Welcome to Beesource. Yea, another Ohioan!

I hope things turn around for you this coming year. Don't get discouraged, this happens to a lot of beekeepers. Just read all you can and try to hook up with some local beekeepers who can help you figure out what might be happening and how you can correct it.

If you have questions you would like to post go to the Index page

    http://www.beesource.com/forums/index.php

    Scroll down to the section:
    GENERAL BEEKEEPING FORUMS

For general beekeeping questions post a "New Thread" in either:
    BEE FORUM
    or
    BEEKEEPING 101

This will get you started. Best of luck this coming year.
To everything there is a season....

My third year was easily my most discouraging. I seemed to be going nowhere fast with a bunch of "welfare bees." Hang in there.

Are you involved with a local beekeeping club? Great places to find mentors and get connected with other local beeks:
