    Default Re-queening in Supers???

I'm a first time beek and am re-queening for the first time. I've read about how it should be done but have one question. The bottom 10 frame deep is full of brood, honey and pollen. I have a medium supper full of honey for the winter and one more medium on top of that. When I get my caged queen I'm not sure I could fit it in between the frames in the bottom deep. I can't remove any frames from the deep because I have not place to put it. Can I put the caged queen on the top super that is half filled with honey?

With utmost respect, may I ask why are you requeening?
If "bottom 10 frame deep is full of brood" that sounds pretty good to me , especially this time of year.

    Now your question . . .
No, do not place queen ANYWHERE except in BROOD NEST.

How about adding a "shim" between deep and honey supers to provide space for caged queen?
Could you remove a deep-size frame of honey from brood nest and place it in a freezer?
How about gouging out an area at the top of a brood frames that is empty (no brood)?

Where there is a will, there is a way
