Swarm this evening
We have been keeping honeybees now for two years now and this was the first time I was able to get a swarm that wasn't my own. I got a calll around 6:30 p.m. this evening from a very excited lady saying she had bees everywhere and that she had got into them with a lawn mower and they completely had covered the mower deck and surrounded her. Lucky enough she did not get stung. My wife and I loaded up what tools I needed and within an hour we were back home with the swarm. It was pretty good size and was very easy to get and only had to drive 6 miles to go and get it. They are now resting comfortably in a nice new nuc.
