    Hello and Welcome!

Be sure to check out the 'How to Start Beekeeping' subforum: lots of good info there. Also, many of us value the info at Michael Bush's site:
    http://www.bushfarms.com/bees.htm

Check your local library for books and videos, and get involved with a local beekeeping club:
    http://www.pastatebeekeepers.org/Rep...nspectors.html
Clubs often offer beginning beekeeping classes, and are great places to find mentors and get connected with other nearby beeks.

Good Luck, and keep us posted!
