Thread: Goldenrod

    Default Goldenrod

I'm still new, I've seen the bees working the goldenrod, is this mostly a pollen plant or nectar, or both? There was a chart I have seen recently that tells what certain flowers produce and how good the flow can be for the bees. I got the link on here recently. I can't remember what it was called or who sent it.
Just because something doesn't do what you planned it to do doesn't mean it's useless.

Looked at the website. It's my understanding that cotton is a major source for nectar but it's not even listed.

The list says northern honey plants. So it is not representative of all 48 states. Some plants are not that specific, but cotton is.
