winter wraps for pallets

I have been using plastic feed sack for making pillows to cover and wrap my pallets. But after a few years the sun eats away at them. I was looking at silt fence or 20 year weedblock to make the new ones. I can get them both in 36 inch by 300 ft rolls. Anyone up north have any inputs on the ones they have done.
