Default Empty Honey Supers - STORE Them On The Hives?

Any reason why I wouldn't want to store my extracted honey supers on top of my hives? Just trying to figure out my options aside from PDB and B401 AKA BT.

    Thanks!

Sure, store them on the hives. If they fill them, you're in business. If they fix / pull more comb, you have more for next year. In PA, you'll have some nice cold weather after the fall so you can pull those empty supers and store them somewhere that the wax moths won't be bothering. Leave tight hives and, come spring, you'll have supers of comb to stack. Very nice!
