they all should work regardless of color, the black frames do allow you to see eggs alot easier.
I know that is what everyone states, but I have not found that to be the case. I also bought black plastic frames for my brood chambers and white for my supposed honey supers. I don't have the best of vision but I can see the eggs on the cells of white frames much easier than on the black. The black seems to make the bottoms of the cells darker (probably absoring the light instead of reflecting it), whereas white are a differenct white from the eggs; therefore it seems to me that the cells on white frames are lighter and allow me to see the eggs much easier.

I think black makes a huge difference in spotting eggs. Especially, on cloudy days when the cells are not backlit.
We have lots of those kinda days around here.
Man, you guys got me, i was gonna say the color......Sorry, ill go sting myself now...
"You laugh at me because I am different, but I laugh at you because you are all the same."
And white frames allow you to see the color of the honey.
